Preserving the Future Through Flow
A sustainable future begins with the proper management of every drop of water and every unit of energy.
As FAF Valve, we mobilize over 40 years of engineering and manufacturing experience not only to meet today’s industrial needs, but also to protect the resources of tomorrow. Every valve we produce directly contributes to the conservation of global water resources, energy efficiency, and the reduction of the carbon footprint in industry. By placing technology and innovation at the core of our approach, we secure the future of our world while controlling the flow.
UN Sustainable Development Goals
UN Sustainable Development Goals
As FAF Valve, our sustainability vision goes beyond being an industrial manufacturer and embraces the responsibility of serving as the future guardian of water and energy resources.
With this responsibility, we take the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as our guide, shaping our production strategies, innovation activities, and corporate actions in line with these universal goals. To leave a more livable world for future generations, we align our infrastructure and technology fully with the global vision for development.
In line with the global climate crisis, the fight against water scarcity, and our carbon-neutral vision, our key sustainability goals are as follows:
CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION (SDG 6)
“Securing the Flow of the Future”
As FAF Valve, every product we manufacture is an integral part of the right to access clean water and sustainable water management. With our valve solutions featuring high sealing technology, we minimize physical water losses in modern water networks and protect every drop of drinking water, our most valuable resource. At the same time, through our specialized industrial solutions developed for wastewater treatment and sanitation processes, we contribute to circular water management by eliminating risks to the environment and human health.
GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING (SDG 3)
“Clean Water, Healthy Future”
Through the qualified solutions we provide for water and wastewater infrastructures, we indirectly play a critical role in protecting public health and quality of life. Preventing waterborne epidemics and ensuring that wastewater is safely separated without mixing with clean water resources are among the most sensitive focus areas of our valve engineering. By building safe pipelines, we support healthy and quality living for people of all ages.
AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY (SDG 7)
“The Secure Infrastructure of Green Energy”
With the awareness that the future lies in clean energy, we are an active part of the global energy transition. In renewable energy projects such as hydroelectric power plants and modern wastewater recovery systems, we manage the flow with our high-strength valves. Through our engineering expertise, we support the efficient transfer of clean and sustainable energy resources to power grids.
DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH (SDG 8)
“Value-Creating Employment, Responsible Growth”
Throughout our journey of more than 40 years, we strengthen our economic success with the value we place on people. Across both our national and global operations, we provide a fair, equal, healthy, and safe working environment for all our employees. We implement our corporate ethical principles and Code of Conduct standards not only within our own organization, but also promote responsible production throughout our entire supply chain by partnering with suppliers committed to human rights and sustainable business models.
SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES (SDG 11)
“Resilient Cities, Safe Living Spaces”
The fundamental building block of smart and sustainable cities is uninterrupted infrastructure systems. With our product portfolio, we secure the clean water needs of cities while enhancing urban resilience against sudden climate events through the pipeline control solutions we develop. With our valve systems that manage flood and overflow risks, we make cities more protected against heavy rainfall and the impacts of the climate crisis.
RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION (SDG 12)
“Circular Economy and Zero Waste Principle”
We embrace sustainability in production not as an obligation, but as a corporate culture. We plan the entire life cycle of our products, from raw materials to end use, with careful consideration of their environmental impacts.
CLIMATE ACTION (SDG 13)
“Carbon Neutrality Target and Effective Pressure Management”
We believe in the power of operational efficiency in combating the global climate crisis. Our valves, which reduce water loss in pipelines and provide optimized pressure management, indirectly contribute to energy savings and lower carbon emissions by reducing the electricity consumed by network pumps.
PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE GOALS (SDG 17)
“Global Partnerships for a Sustainable World”
We are aware that no global goal can be achieved alone. As FAF Valve, we establish strong partnerships with local governments, national and international institutions and organizations, and industry representatives to promote the circular economy and sustainable resource management. Through FAF Academy, we share our knowledge and engineering expertise, growing the vision of a more livable world through collective intelligence.

Value-Adding Investment for the Future: Our SPP Project
The key foundation of a sustainable industrial infrastructure is to produce energy while consuming it. As FAF Valve, we have implemented our Solar Power Plant (SPP) project on an area of 85,000 m² in Kozaklı, Nevşehir, to contribute to the clean energy transition.
This investment, which enables us to meet the energy needs of our production facilities with green energy, operates with a capacity of 5,000 kWe AC and 6,263 kWp DC. FAF SPP is one of the most concrete indicators of our commitment to achieving carbon-neutral targets in industry and combating the climate crisis.
Our Contributions to the Planet:
Annual Average Production ➔ 10,500 MWh (10.5 GWh) of Clean Energy
Prevented CO₂ Emissions ➔ 8,270 Tons (8.27 Kilotons) of Carbon Savings
Standard Coal Savings ➔ 6,960 Tons (6.96 Kilotons) of Fossil Fuel Avoidance
Equivalent Number of Trees ➔ 11,290 Trees (11.29k) Equivalent Natural Tree Impact
With our vision of being a pioneer of green transformation in industry, we will continue to take responsibility and produce for a sustainable future.
Water and Environment
Water and Environment
As FAF Valve, we define the core responsibility of our industrial presence as being the “future guardian of water and energy resources.” For us, water represents life, health, and the future itself. With this awareness, we place our engineering expertise and production technology at the service of nature to ensure the safe protection of every drop of water and the sustainability of our environment.
In the face of water scarcity, one of the most critical turning points for our planet, we regard ensuring water security as our fundamental duty. Our valve solutions, manufactured with high sealing technology, are designed to prevent physical water losses, or leakages, that may occur in drinking water and infrastructure pipelines. By securing both the water in distribution networks and the energy used to transport it, we ensure that water reaches humanity in the healthiest and most loss-free way possible.
Environmentally Friendly Production with RAL-GSK Certification
We seek sustainability not only in the final product, but at every stage of production. Our products, certified with RAL-GSK, one of the world’s most prestigious quality standards for heavy-duty corrosion protection, are one of the most concrete proofs of our environmentally friendly production processes.
The high-quality coating processes we apply in accordance with GSK standards maximize the service life of our valves underground and under challenging conditions.
Thanks to longer-lasting products, we help prevent the unnecessary consumption of the world’s raw material resources and minimize the amount of waste generated by maintenance and replacement processes.
Repaying Our Debt to Nature: Our Tree Planting Activities
We do not limit our philosophy of “giving back to nature what we take from it” to our factories and products alone. As the FAF Valve family, we are putting down roots in the soil and in the future through our traditional tree planting activities. While our SPP investments in Kozaklı, Nevşehir and on the roof of our factory help ease the burden on the atmosphere equivalent to hundreds of thousands of trees, each new sapling we plant directly expands our country’s green landscape and actively balances our carbon footprint.
To leave clear water resources and a breathable environment for future generations, we will continue to produce and protect with determination.
